Booking a Trip to Bhutan

For International Travelers

(All Nationals other than Indian, Bangladeshi & Maldivian Nationals)

All the foreign nationals, other than Indian, Maldivian and Bangladeshi nationals, will have to travel through a local Bhutanese tour operator based in Bhutan. Only local Bhutanese tour operators can apply Bhutan visa for international travelers. The given below is a simple guide/ steps towards booking to trip to Bhutan.

• Contact a valid and registered tour operator in Bhutan such as Find Bhutan email or phone.
• We will work out a perfect travel plan as per your interest and requirements in correspondence with you.
• Once you are satisfied with the travel plan, we will ask you to send us the scanned copy of your Passport. (it should be clear, in colour and in JPEG format)
• We will block the hotels, reserve your flight to Bhutan.
• Then we will send you your Bhutan Travel payment Invoice and Bank details.
• You will have to send us a scanned copy of your passport (it should be clear, in colour and in JPEG format)
• As per the regulations of the Tourism Council of Bhutan you will have to Bank Transfer the full amount of the Tour payment and send us the bank transfer receipt.
• Once we receive the payment, we will confirm your Bhutan Travel Services, purchase your flight ticket to Bhutan and send you the E-Tickets.
• We will also apply your visa and a Visa approval letter issued by the Department of Immigration shall be sent to you. You will have to carry a printed copy of the visa approval letter, the actual visa will be stamped on your passport on arrival at the Paro Airport OR Bhutan gate (if entering from Phuentsholing) in production of the visa approval letter.
• Your Bhutan tour guide from Find Bhutan shall be waiting for at the Airport with a Play Card.

For Regional Tourists

(Indian, Bangladeshi and Maldivian Travelers)

It is not mandatory for Indian, Bangladeshi and Maldivian Travelers to travel through a Bhutanese tour operator. They have the choice to travel by themselves also as they do not need a visa and can travel Bhutan with the permit issued at the entry points. However if you are looking for a hassle free perfect holiday in Bhutan, it may better for you to book your trip to Bhutan through a Local Bhutan tour operator. The below is a simple guide to how to book your trip to Bhutan.

• Contact a valid and registered tour operator in Bhutan such as Find Bhutan email or phone.

• Once we receive the payment, we will confirm your Bhutan Travel Services, purchase your flight ticket to Bhutan and send you the E-Tickets.
• Your Bhutan tour guide from Find Bhutan shall be waiting for at the Airport or at the Bhutan gate (if entering from Phuentsholing) with a Play Card or may contact you via phone as the case may be.
• If you are entering via Paro Airport your permit will be issued at the Airport in production of your Passport or Voter ID Card. If you are entering via land, your guide will assist you to process the permits at the immigration.
